UCLA and Oklahoma to Honor Sexual Abuse Survivors on Sunday

UCLA has teamed up with the Oklahoma Sooners to pay tribute to the brave survivors of sexual abuse that have come forward recently.

After the meet in Pauley Pavilion on Sunday, the two teams will be honoring those who have survived abuse, so be sure to stick around after the competition!

As a special treat, the first 1,000 fans in Pauley will receive teal wristbands that say “Together We Rise” and the first 5,000 fans will receive teal pom-poms.

The meet will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m. with the first vault at 1:01 p.m. Doors open at 12 p.m. Be sure to arrive early and be in your seats by 12:40 p.m. for the pre-meet festivities, including UCLA’s very own Hallie Mossett, Peng-Peng Lee and former Bruin Alex Waller singing the national anthem.

The meet will be televised live on ESPN at 1 p.m. Pacific Time. This will be the first time in history that a regular season college gymnastics meet will be broadcast on ESPN.
