UCLA senior Gracie Kramer announced in a livestream with Chris Waller recently that she has been hired as the new volunteer assistant coach for Utah State Gymnastics.
Kramer, who grew up in Orange County, said she is so excited to live in the snow for the first time. She is also excited to be working alongside Utah State’s head coach, Amy Smith, who is also a former Bruin.
“I hope they like me,” Kramer told Waller on the livestream.
Waller stated that Kramer had also been thinking about going into marketing or social media as a career path, but since her career at UCLA was cut short due to the Covid-19 pandemic, her grief over the sport made her realize she wasn’t ready to be done with it just yet.
Kramer hopes to help and inspire the gymnasts at Utah State and we can’t wait to see how well she does! Congratulations, Gracie!
